I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister-in-law, who is six months pregnant and recently endured a terrifying and unprovoked assault while at work.

While helping a customer, she was suddenly attacked by the customer’s partner — shoved in the face, grabbed, thrown to the ground, and kicked. The man then almost run her over before fleeing the scene.

We immediately filed a police report and rushed her to the emergency room, where she underwent countless tests and scans to make sure both she and her baby were safe. She had to stay overnight for monitoring, and thankfully, the baby is okay — but the trauma she experienced is something no woman, especially an expectant mother, should ever go through.

Now, she’s facing unexpected medical expenses, time off work to recover both mentally and physically, and the emotional toll of trying to feel safe again.

We’re asking for help to ease the financial strain during her recovery — covering hospital bills, follow-up care, lost wages, and counseling for emotional healing. Every dollar will go directly toward helping her get back on her feet and giving her and the baby the peace and stability they need right now.

Our family is heartbroken, but we’re holding onto gratitude — that she survived, and that there are people in the world willing to show compassion and stand beside her in this difficult time.
