Relief during Tosha's Recovery

On Sunday, October 19th, the day was like any normal day. However, that afternoon, things took a very unexpected turn. Tosha suffered from a major stroke. Upon arriving at the hospital via ambulance, it was determined that Tosha was past the medication intervention to help (4 hours from wellness). Within 2 hours of arriving at the hospital, she was being transported to Jacksonville, FL for emergency surgery to remove the clot that caused the stroke. After arriving in Jacksonville, Tosha immediately went into surgery. The clot was successfully removed; however, the section of the brain was already damaged. Due to the severity of the stroke, she will require 6-12 months of rehabilitation. This week will be crucial as the main concerns at the moment are pneumonia and swelling on the brain. Once Tosha is out of the woods (a week) from that, she will be transported to another facility in Jacksonville for 21 days of physical therapy.
As we all know, when something major happens, the bills still come, unfortunately. I have created this GoFundMe in hopes to help relieve Tosha and my mom (Sheila) of any additional stress. The sole focus needs to be Tosha recovering, gaining back her strength, and my mom being able to be there with her for the support that Tosha needs during this time. Funds that are raised will go directly to Tosha and my mom towards helping keep up with essential expenses like rent, utilities, and insurance while they focus on Tosha's recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a real difference. If you are unable to give financially, I ask that you please share this and keep Tosha in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you all for your kindness, love, and support during this difficult time.
With love,
