Palisades Fire Relief- Daniela’s Bakery and home

Pacific Palisades is home to the community's favorite bakery, Viktor Benes, and the town's favorite lady at the bakery, day and night, Daniela Romano. For four decades, she has been a staple to one of the Palisades' most treasured spots.

I am a close friend of Daniela. She has always showed up for the people she loves and I hope we can show up for her and her employees now. She finally allowed me to post this page after much reluctance. But as the days progress, the enormity of the task ahead and the desire to help her team convinced her that help would be appropriate at this time.

Daniela lost everything in the fire. Not only did she lose her business, but her home was also taken by the fire. Her heart is broken for the community and especially her treasured employees who are all now facing challenging times.

Please consider a donation which she could use to help her displaced employees and help Daniela navigate the next couple of months as she rebuilds not only a place to live but also a treasured business beloved by so many.
