Relief and Support For Johanna and Brad

Our dear friends Brad and Johanna recently discovered they were pregnant with their first baby. While they are excited for the baby, this pregnancy has been very rough on them and they have been in survival mode in more ways than one.

Johanna has been diagnosed with hyperemesis graviderum, a severe morning sickness that lasts all day. Her husband Brad has had to take her to the ER several times due to severe dehydration as well. The doctors have prescribed several medications that only seem to slightly help.

Due to how difficult this pregnancy has been, Johanna has also experiened several unexpected panic attacks along with physical sicknesses that have left her bedridden since early January and she is unable to work.

Finances have been particularly difficult, as Johanna and Brad just recently moved to Idaho and are currently working on completing their higher education degrees. Brad has had to start working full time to provide for both of them and their future child. However, Brad’s job does not offer insurance, and with their limited work hours, they are struggling to cover medical expenses.
