My name is Kelcina Burton-George, and I am a citizen of Barbuda, and business owner on the island. 
I returned to Toronto on the weekend of August 26th, before Hurricane Irma struck.
Looking at pictures after the events, the island is unrecognizable to me. 

Barbuda is home to approximately 1,600 people, all of whom are close family and friends. 
Over 90% of the community was destroyed, and we are reaching out and seeking relief funds to assist the people in rebuilding their homes.

Our goal is to reach $20,000.00.
