Chris Pendleton is a US Marine Corp veteran who, like so many other veterans, has struggled with PTSD and homelessness following his transition to civilian life. He fought to get himself back on his feet following his service to our country, and has used his love of dogs and dog training to follow a purpose of helping other veterans. He now trains psychiatric service dogs for veterans suffering with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries with the local non-profit organization, Shelter to Soldier.
Chris recently experienced another life set back when his patched and repaired vehicle, which once doubled as his home, died and could not be salvaged. He desperately needs a reliable and safe vehicle to transport him and his dogs to work so he can continue his mission of helping other veterans.
