Intelligent, sweet, competitive, caring, infectiously funny, and fiercely loving and loyal. These are only a few of the dozens of descriptors used over the last couple of days to describe Wesley "Dustin" Jones. Among these, to an incomputable number, he was known as a friend; while to even fewer, he was known by much deeper and simpler agnomens: father, uncle, brother, son. To know Dustin was to know you always had a friend and, for those blessed to be counted his friend, was to see that you were a true extension of his family. Time and distance come between us all, yet the minute you were back in his presence, it was like no time had elapsed. When being greeted with a huge smile and his signature "heeey!!' seemingly instantaneously, the years and miles would melt away. All of us who have known him know that the world is indeed a lesser place without him. He is, and forever will be, missed with a depth not known to most.
Therefore, with a heavy heart and mournful body and mind, I write these words in creating a more centralized location for those who would like to contribute any donations or assistance with the services and ceremonies for Wesley "Dustin" Jones. If you're able to, I kindly ask you to donate funds towards funeral expenses in the hope of lessening the financial burden on his family.
Please know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking journey together.
We are still working on organizing the Celebration of Life for Dustin. The tentative dates should be 04/09/2022 or 04/23/2022, but we will keep everyone updated and send out invitations as soon as the details are ironed out.
