Hi, my name is Sky and I'm a volunteer at Horse Sense Wirral.
A group of volunteers including myself will be participating in a peninsula walk of the lovely Wirral, finishing at Horse Sense yard in Thornton Hough.
All funds raised will be used for various projects around the farm to improve areas for both volunteers and our lovely animals.
We'd love to pay for some of the muck heap removal, get some new hay nets, new feed buckets and bowls, replace old and now dangerous partitions so we can use the barn again, purchase a few auto waters, install some thermal protection for our pipework ( winter is coming ) and much more. If we have any funds left over we will stock up on some hay & straw.
The walk is Saturday 29th November, starting and finishing at Horse Sense Wirral.
The walk is approx 37 miles and we're hoping to get the job done in roughly 12 hours.
We will be doing Facebook live videos during the walk and updating everyone with an estimated finish time to get the brews on when the team have finished.
Every donation will make a massive difference to helping the volunteers with there day to day jobs and also the welfare of the animals.
If you can't make a donation but would like to help raise money for this great cause you can pick up a sponsorship form from the Farm.
Thank you
Sky Baker
