Help Us Fight for Wrenley’s Life!
My name is Emily, and today I’m asking for help for someone very dear to my heart—my niece, Wrenley. She’s not even three years old yet, and she’s facing something no child should ever have to endure.
Wrenley was first diagnosed with AML (a rare and aggressive form of leukemia) in August 2024. After months of treatment and a bone marrow transplant in January 2025, we thought the worst was behind us. But on November 25, 2025, during what was supposed to be a routine checkup, we received the devastating news: the cancer is back. Just 10 months after her transplant, Wrenley has relapsed.
Now, this brave little girl is preparing for another fight—a grueling six months at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, undergoing chemotherapy and a second bone marrow transplant. She will spend every single day in the hospital. Only one parent can stay with her, while the other rents accommodations nearby. This young family—Delaney Sims and Carl Hartung—has barely had time to breathe since her first diagnosis, and the financial strain is overwhelming.
They live 1.5 hours from Toronto, still trying to maintain their home while covering car payments, regular household bills, and everyday expenses—all while focusing on saving their daughter’s life. Delaney hasn’t been able to work since Wren’s first treatment because her care requires full-time attention.
No child should have to fight this hard. No family should have to worry about bills while battling cancer. But this is their reality.
If you can, please donate—even $5 makes a difference. Every dollar helps ease the crushing stress and allows them to focus on what truly matters: Wrenley’s recovery. And if you can’t donate, please share this page and keep Wrenley in your prayers.
Wren is a warrior like no other. She fought meningitis during her last battle with cancer and came out smiling. She is strong, she is brave, and with your help, she can win this fight.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for standing with Wrenley and her family.
