Hello. My name is Karina and I am helping raise money for my friend Erin’s horse Reka.

Reka started colicking on the afternoon of Tuesday April 11. After our friend and trainer Julia and Erin did everything they could at the farm, the vet came to look at her and referred her to Tryon Equine Hospital. We are expecting she will have to undergo surgery, which is estimated between $15k and $20k.

Reka is the sweetest horse, and has come so far. She is loving, sweet, and kind, and Erin’s perfect partner.

Erin loves this mare so much but cannot afford the surgery, so hopefully you can find it in your heart to help. Every little bit counts!
