In late July, Stephanie began experiencing unexplained and progressively worse numbness in her hands and feet that led to several doctor visits, tests to determine the cause, and extended hospital stays as well as aggressive treatments with the hope of providing some relief.
The good news is that the most recent diagnosis (CIDP, a chronic form of Gillian-Barre Syndrome) and subsequent treatment has shown signs of working, but is intense and requires weeks of inpatient treatment with many unknowns after that. Their whole family is dealing with a variety of unexpected needs.
They have humbly shared their story and have asked for prayers and support. Stephanie is currently unable to operate their in-home daycare, Nick has limited paid days off from work, and her mom who is in MN to care for the boys just fell and broke her leg. Lost income is not only making regular expenses more difficult, but other expenses and trips to Rochester add up quickly.
In addition to continued prayers for comfort, answers, and successful treatment, any amount of financial support would alleviate a great deal of stress as they try to adjust. Don't forget to click the sharing link to spread the word!
