A little about us:

Mark -

I have lived in the Tampa, FL metro for the last 4 years and personally have friends in Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg that have been affected by the unprecedented storm surge along the Gulf shoreline. Houses burned down from electrical fires, boats and campers swept away from their owners, loved ones stranded and without basic utilities along with food/water/shelter.

Recently, I moved to Johnson City, TN, and have witnessed the effects of Helene in the mountain regions of Tennessee. I've been moved by the efforts of those around us and want to do our part for the area as well.

Daniel -

I have lived in Jonesborough, TN for the last 2 years and am an avid motorcycle rider. We would frequently ride through the areas of Embreeville, Erwin, and Unicoi into the Appalachian Mountains to enjoy the hundreds of miles of scenic byways. It breaks my heart to see the landscape of this beautiful area be forever changed by this weather event.

In this area, I have made many lifelong friends whose houses have been seen floating down the Nolichucky River. While evacuating from Highway 107 in Washington County, TN, my wife and I witnessed farmers' pasture land become contaminated by floodwaters; livestock swept away by raging current; churches going underwater; bridges collapsing from the 30' surge of water in the river. I pray this fund goes a long way in rebuilding this community.

Natural disasters like this disproportionately affect our poorest communities, and we have decided to create this fund to give support directly to those who need it most.

Many families and individuals across Western North Carolina, East Tennessee, and the Gulf Coast of Florida have lost homes, livelihoods, and the basic necessities of life.

It has been nearly a week since Helene struck the southeastern US, with many folks in Western NC are still shut off from the outside world. Federal assistance is most likely weeks out, which is why we are starting this fund to provide immediate assistance to those who need it most.

For the last week, we have been on the ground in East Tennessee along the Nolichucky River helping with cleanup efforts, as well as donating several thousand dollars of supplies directly to those in the area. We want to do more, which is why we decided to start this fundraiser.

Your contributions will directly support shelter, food, water, medical care, and essential supplies for victims struggling to rebuild their lives. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their recovery.

of the spear on leading everyone back to Notth Carolina to a small town called Relief. Forgotten by our “Government” please stand up people, these people need your help.
