Rei's Emergency Mutual Aid (Rent)

Hello :) I am Rei, a Western University student and a WOC (woman of colour) newcomer in London ON.

Due to unforeseen complications with my scholarship (which I lost; however I am attempting to appeal) and my job situation (I work very few hours per week), I am struggling with paying my bills on time. I hope to turn to my London ON community for assistance. My landlord has asked me to pay off all my accumulated back rent before March 31st (about 5 months), and I realise I am quite far from having the required amount. Additionally, I am having to re-instate my immigration status (which will cost me an additional 400CAD) as my studies have been delayed. The deadline for this is approaching very soon and I am afraid I won't be able to manage the funds with the hours I am currently working.

I hate having to ask at a time when things are more scarce than usual, but I would sincerely appreciate any help that may be directed my way. I don't want to lose my housing in the middle of my semester while I am attempting to find more work and reinstate my immigration status.

The funds gathered through this fundraiser will assist me with paying off my back rent, securing my housing for a little while longer as I am still looking for more work, and will also allow me to have funds for my immigration documentation fees.
