Reinhart Family Fire

Hi, I’m Karrie and I’m raising funds on behalf of my brother and his family. Kevin, Shawna and 14yr old Jake suffered a devastating loss on the evening of March 17 when their home caught on fire. After hearing a noise, my brother found the garage fully engulfed in flames which quickly spread to the rest of the home. They were able to make it out safely, but without their dog, Cletus. The firefighters found Cletus hiding in the bathroom. He was given oxygen and was very shaken up. Unfortunately the next day Cletus took a turn for the worse and was rushed to the Vet. He was given medication to help with his eyes, stop the vomiting and sooth his lungs. This created a large unexpected vet bill on top of a trying time.

Sadly my brother did not have home insurance. The funds raised will help rebuild their home and replace all of the things that were lost in the fire. Objects that didn’t burn were destroyed by smoke & water. All of the tools that Kevin uses to provide for his family are gone. The loss of income is another blow to this hard time.

The Fire Marshall believes the furnace in the attic above the garage caused the fire.
