My name is Reid, and I’m asking for help with my medical bills. I had a traumatic knee injury on the first of December of 2024. I unfortunately am uninsured until January of 2025. That leaves me with my initial Emergency Room bill where they had to preform an X-ray to see if I had fractured anything. The results showed that I have an avulsion on my tibial spine. Which made the doctors assume that I have some serious ligament damage. I am scheduled to have a CT & MRI this week to see the rest of the damage that has happened during this injury. I’m uninsured, that means I’m paying for these cost out of pocket unfortunately. They don’t know exactly what has happened yet, but they’re sure that I will have to have surgery. Anyone who has met me or knows me at all will tell you that I don’t ask for help or for handouts. Unfortunately with the severity of this injury I’m finally asking for help from my friends, family, and community to help me in this time. Due to how severe this injury is, and the cost of my medical expenses I will reaching out to ask for help. I really appreciate any kind of assistance from anyone during this time. I know it’s tough for everyone nowadays, and I’m not looking for everything to be covered. I just need some assistance with how big these bills will be unfortunately.
