Reid and Family: Help After the Eaton Canyon Fire

Hi, our names are Kean and Kai, and we are reaching out on behalf of Reid Stewart, a kind-hearted and hardworking friend who has dedicated his life to caring for dogs and providing them with a loving home away from home. For years Reid has always been there for us, whether it's taking care of our dog, Percy, while we were away, or hosting the best doggy playdates. Unfortunately, in the wake of the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire, Reid and his loving family lost their home.

What originally started as a passion for caring for animals turned into a heartfelt business where Reid boarded dogs and treated every furry friend like family. His home wasn’t just a residence—it was the heart of his business and a cozy retreat for dogs in need of attention and love while their families were away.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the Eaton Canyon Fire devastated Reid's home. The place where he lived, worked, and poured his heart into is now gone. The fire took everything from him: his home, his memories, his business, and the primary source of income that supported his growing family.

Reid is a devoted husband and father, with another little one on the way. This should be a time of joy and anticipation, but instead, they’re facing an overwhelming loss and uncertainty.

We’re asking for your help to get Reid and his family back on their feet. The funds raised will go directly toward:

Securing temporary housing for his family and dogs.

Basic necessities as they recover from this devastating loss.

Living expenses as he is now unemployed and houseless.

Medical expenses for the pregnancy, including prenatal care, delivery costs, and any unforeseen health-related needs.

Reid has always been there for others, whether it’s caring for his extended dog family or helping his community find peace of mind knowing their dogs are safe and loved. While the Eaton Canyon Fire ravaged his neighborhood, Reid evacuated with our dog, Percy, along with his family, keeping him safe and calm amidst the chaos. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
