As many of you know, a recent and severe stroke has in an instant changed the course of Angie’s life. Our hope is to crowd-fund much needed financial support for her important rehabilitation. At this time our mother is unable to walk amongst many other challenges and is now in need of Long-Term care.  

Stroke recovery requires continuous, consistent hard work, something that Angie is not intimidated by.  Her goal is to one day walk again and gain some independence, and hopes to be able to move from long-term care to assisted living. Part of our biggest challenge is that we need to pay for her Neuro-rehabilitation and hire privately to have someone come regularly and consistently to do her exercises with her. The restrictions in place from Covid-19 have indeed proven to make this difficult situation  worse in limiting our visitation with her to only 2 people.  These funds raised will go towards the hire of a Care Aid to help 3 days a week with her exercises preformed in-home as well as 2-3 in-clinic therapy sessions @Synaptic Neurophysiotherapy clinic, and ARBI (Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured) 

A loving and loyal friend, mother, grandmother, Angie is the first to step up to help and support those who she holds near and dear.  She has been an integral part of the community in Black Diamond, volunteering and helping when and where ever she can.  Many people have asked how they can help, and we feel that this would be the most valuable way to contribute at this time.  Thank you for your consideration
