Rehabilitation for Jaleen after COVID-19 effects

Jaleen is my 21 year old son who was a fully functioning young adult with type 1 diabetes until he came down with COVID-19 in December 2020 quarantine for 14 days went back to work after quarantine two weeks later started complaining of headaches, next day his speech started to become slurred, he couldn’t hold his balance took him to local hospital they sent him home each time which totaled 6 times each time we were told he had brain fog a after effect of COVID-19, he will be fine drink plenty water. 01/21we went back to same hospital and refused to leave cause by then he was unable to talk or walk at all, that put him out of his full time time job he has had for 3 years, after MRI revealed he had encephalitis of the brain stem, they admitted him did various treatments IVig, steroids, plasma exchange then another MRI revealed that after all treatments the encephalitis had gotten progressively worse, the neurologist he had signed off and stated medically there was nothing else could be done and sent him home, we wrote a letter to administrators at hospital to keep him and do more tests it didn’t work they release him on February 4 2021, with equipment for disabled and handicap , when home he was getting worse we took him to Emory University Hospital were he is now his mother is by his side while they study and research a cure for him, but as you know it’s expensive.
