Rehabilitate James’ Mind
Donation protected
James is a beloved son, a selfless brother and a loyal friend. He’s the light of every room he walks into and brightens the day of everyone around him. He’s a spunky 19 year old with an amazing future ahead of him. He always gives his 100%, and because of that he excels in everything he applies himself to.
This last March, James suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently comatose. At the moment, he is on life support systems and is fighting several infections in his lungs. We’ve been at his side every day, doing everything we can for him.James is a fighter, and we are optimistic for his recovery. With the odds stacked against him, he’s shown resilience by moving and blinking his eyes on command, and by slowing moving more and more parts of his body. Most recently, he’s been able to fully close his eyes, and has started small movements in his head and neck.
We know that with the right care, James can make a recovery. Our goal is to get him into a care hospital, such as Craig Hospital, that focuses on brain injury and can work with his resilience to get him back to 100%. We are raising money not only for this purpose, but also to purchase the medical equipment we’ll need to bring James home. Any contribution means more than we have the words to say. Your help is welcomed and deeply appreciated. God bless
