Rehabilitation for Bryan Turner
Donation protected
On Sunday morning (21st November) my mum found my dad and he’d had a very severe stroke and was rushed to the Nepean hospital in Penrith by an ambulance. The hospital found 2 blood clots on his brain and rushed him over to Liverpool hospital for the removal of the blood clots. They successfully removed the clots but later found one in his heart as well so he has been put on blood thinners to try and clear the blood clot in his heart and avoid more clots occurring. He is unable to speak or move the right side of his body and he may never speak or walk again as the part of his brain for his speech has died. He is also at high risk for Pneumonia as he has fluid on his lungs and because they haven’t found where the blood clots are coming from he could be at risk of a second stroke. It is going to be a very long road for his recovery and he is going to need months of physical therapy. I’ve set this up to try and help my mum and my dad as I don’t know how they are going to survive without him working and cover all of the medical bills that we will end up with to be able to get dad better, my brother and I are up here with mum and are doing everything in our power to help them but we can only do so much so I’m asking if anyone is able to donate and/or share this for us as every little bit counts. We do not expect people to donate but if able to it is very appreciated.
