Anyone who knows my mom knows she is the most kindest and gentlest person in the world.  She is a wonderful mother, best grandmother and a very caring teacher to multiple children over the years.
On February 22nd while she was at work at St. Marks Preschool she had a headache and started feeling dizzy. When she checked her blood pressure it was out of control 240/100. She went to Venice Hospital and they determined she had a intracerebral hematoma and bleeding on her brain. She was admitted to the ICU and here we still are.

She has lost a lot of her motor function on one side and will need rehab. She has also not been herself since this happened. We all miss her smile and her laugh and desperately want her back. Unfortunately, she has no insurance and therefore will rely on a "charity bed" when she goes to rehab. We have been told that the chances of getting one are slim and it is a possibility we could have to take her home like this.

We are hoping that we can raise enough money to pay for her to go to a local rehab close to home so her husband, kids, and grandkids can see her.
