Rehab needed to walk again. All help appreciate!

Hello everyone my name is Joey, and unfortunately I really need your help. I really don't recall what happened until after waking up in the hospital in Odessa Texas and not even remembering who I was for a couple days until someone told me about the accident and my memory of who I was returned. The story of the accident is as follows... Apparently I was in a 85mph zone, but I never drive that fast mainly because I drive a large sprinter type van across the country. Now you would think that there would be insurance in place to handle situations like this but it doesn't seem so. There wasn't a guard rail on the left side of a bridge I crossed. I really don't know what forced me off the bridge but I was most likely going about 75mph when I drove off the left side of the Bridge. I dropped around 25 feet to the road below and kept going with the momentum and was jammed underneath underneath the bridge next to it and the road below. The van's OnStar immediately called 911 to inform them of the accident and location but I don't think they were able to find me because I didn't explode, fortunately. The construction crew found the following morning. I have no idea how long I was trapped inside the cab of the van until found. They cut me out of the van and Air lifted me immediately to Lubbock Texas for emergency life saving surgery. My back was virtually destroyed. I have an incision from my shoulders to my butt. They rebuilt my entire back from top to bottom with titanium rods. All my ribs are either broken or fractured. My pelvis is broken on both sides and my left shoulder is broken. To say the least I am a mess. I'm currently a paraplegic. I can however wiggle my toes and move my feet a little. There is extreme hope of being able to walk again with rehabilitation. The fund raisor is for paying for the rehab as there is not any insurance. I can be restored to 95% of my former abilities with the rehab. I must say I was fairly an active 55 year old man and to not be able to walk or move my legs is very debilitating. I really hate the idea of asking for help for anything. I want to be an active contributing person to society not a drain on societies resources I had issues with the very cruel doctors that visited me at like 8 am daily. I was extremely medicated and traumatized by the accident and still, quite frankly, am. I have to say besides God, of course, my only saving grace was the loving, caring, and giving Nurses that cared for me through out my 2 and 1/2 weeks stay at the hospital. Then one day a totally different, kind and gentle doctor walked in with one of My kind, gentle charge Nurses. They both gently grasped a hand on either side of me and spoke gently and kind to me with smiles on there faces They told me that there was a fund available to send me home via ambulance 1214 miles to my parents house. I was excited to be going home to see my family. On Saturday morning at approximately 8am the ambulance guys showed up. At around 9am everything, including a brand new wheel chair was loaded and we we on the way. Thankfully for my kind, and giving Nurses they packed me a box lunch of sandwiches, chips and jello. With out that I would have had nothing to eat for the 20 hour trip. By the way I am also a Type 1 Diabetic. I have been since the age of 21. So at about 4am or so on Sunday morning we arrived at my parents house. They woke my parents and proceeded to dump me on my bed, neglecting to remove my existing 2 IV's and took off. My mother will be 75 in September, my dad is 78. Although they love me and I love them extremely, they are not really capable of taking care of a paraplegic, 55 year old son. Finally, this is why I am forced to try a GoFundMe. My hope is with many small donations I can get the rehab I desperately need and turn the tables and take care of them, the way it should. I am literally begging you for help. Please any donation is greatly appreciated. May God Bless you all, even if you aren't capable of donating I pray for God's Blessings upon you. I thank you!
