Rehab costs for Charymain Rasso
Donation protected
Hello everyone ❤️ I'm asking for all the helps and prayers I can get. If you know my grandma, Charymain... you know how she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Well, now she's the one in need. We have been through so much as a family. My grandma had hip replacement surgery on December 2, 2022. A week later, her mother passed away and we had to travel to East TX. To the funeral. While we were there, my grandma got really sick, and was taken to the ER there, to find out that she had an infection in her hip that ended up causing sepsis, and so many other complications. We brought her home and went back to the hospital in San Antonio, they then told us she would need to have the hip replacement removed, and have a temporary hip put in along with heavy antibiotics for 6 weeks. In that time, I thankfully got her in to a rehab facility so she could properly heal before coming home. Well, while at the rehab, her temporary hip broke, and she had to go back in for surgery a 3rd time, along with wound vacs having to be replaced several times, and looking at least to one more surgery in February.
She cannot walk at the moment, and needs round the clock care.
Here's where we need the help. Her insurance will stop paying after tomorrow. She needs to stay in the rehab for at least 2 more weeks before going into surgery again, and then go back to the rehab after the next surgery. The rehab is $200 a day without insurance, and that is just not something we can financially cover at thus moment. So im asking with my entire soul, please help my grandma. Donations and prayers are much appreciated. I've set this goal based on the days she will 100% NEED to be at the rehab. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and anything else you can do. Please share this to everyone you know!
