Grand Re-Opening!

The Ballet Nouveau School is a ballet-based conservatory in Baltimore Maryland entering our fourth year in arts education. Kristen S. Stevenson is the Managing Director of the Ballet Nouveau School and a Professor of Ballet at the Peabody Conservatory. Ballet Nouveau is making history as one of the few Black Owned Ballet Conservatories  in the region. The Ballet Nouveau School is committed to providing the highest quality ballet training while developing the next generation
of creative minds and pre-professionals. Ballet Nouveau is an American Ballet Theatre certified school offering the American Ballet Theatre ® National Training Curriculum for ages 2-22.

The Ballet Nouveau School also host an outreach community program. “The Ballet Project” founded in 2014, is also committed to educating today’s youth in fine arts while generating the accessibility of ballet to multi-cultural communities. Free on-site classes are available weekly for however, these same students are generally unable to continue their training due to financial hardships thus we are both pleased and honored to provide a yearlong program to high performing students. Promising students in this program are eligible for full/partial scholarships in the Ballet Nouveau Conservatory. The Ballet Project is sponsored completely by the Ballet Nouveau School.
