Regionals Competition

Help Support the Riverton Next Level Gymnastics Gold and Platinum Team's Journey to Regionals!

Our Riverton Gymnastics team capped an amazing competition season at State on March 18th. Every Gold and Platinum Gymnast on the Riverton team qualified for Regionals which is not an easy task! To qualify, a gold or platinum gymnast must have an overall score of 34 out of 40. Not only did every Riverton Gymnast qualify but Riverton's own Kaeli Hancock placed second in the Junior A age group, Moya Hutchison placed second in the Junior C age group and Chloe Newberry is the State Champion of the Junior B age division placing first! Riverton's Lizzy Hauser had a very impressive score of 35.2250 and Caroline King also did not disappoint with a score of 34.4750, both in the Junior C division. Mary Witzel is Riverton's only Platinum gymnast with her impressive skills, she placed 5th at state.

As a result of these exciting accomplishments, the 5 gold gymnasts are headed to Houston, TX on April 28-30 and Mary will head to Aurora, CO on May 5-7 to compete for Regional Gold Championship Titles. We are excited about this incredible opportunity!

These 6 girls are very talented and have the skills and determination to do very well at Regionals this year. It is also a wonderful opportunity for them to compete against girls and teams that they would not normally play, and to compete at some of the highest levels in the United States.

This trip is exciting but involves a MAJOR financial commitment. All proceeds from this fundraising effort will go toward the meet registration fees and team travel expenses (gas, plane tickets, hotels). No donations is too small.
