Afan Nedd Tawe Regional Women's Rounders Squad

November 2022, an instagram post was posted to see who fancied a game of rounders in Port Talbot, Wales. 14 weeks later there are 341 registered rounders players, 24 teams and 2 leagues with 4 divisions in total.

Rounders has taken the area by storm and the community it has generated just keeps growing. In May there is a regional tournament being held by Rounders England whereby 30 local ladies will be taking part as Afan Nedd Tawe Regional Rounders Squad.

This is where we need your help, there is no national governing body in Wales which is being worked towards however that is a 2+ year application process, so there isn't any national support to make this happen. Therefore everything is self-funded.

The squad have various fundraisers and sponsorships happening but we need more local support to make this happen and make history! We are putting Afan Nedd Tawe on the map across the border and would love your support.
