A Heartbeat Away: Support Regine's Life-Saving Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Brandon Jacobs, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend Regine. She has been battling congenital heart disease since she was just 3 years old. Now, doctors have told us that the only way she can survive and live a healthier life is through open-heart surgery a tricuspid valve replacement.

Regine’s condition makes everyday life extremely difficult. Simple tasks like bathing or dressing leave her exhausted and breathless. Her lips and fingers often turn blue from low oxygen levels, and sometimes she feels like she’s drowning in her sleep. She has frequent seizures, constant body pain, and often needs a wheelchair just to move around. That’s why this surgery is so critical it gives her the chance to finally live without constant struggle.

Yet despite all this, Regine remains strong and hopeful. She once told me, “I’ve always wondered what it feels like to breathe normally.” That hope keeps me fighting alongside her because she deserves a life free from constant pain and fatigue.

The surgery, hospital stay, and post-surgery care will cost between $35,000 – $50,000 USD, covering the valve replacement, cardiac catheterization, ICU stay, and rehabilitation.
