On June 6, 2025, we received the heartbreaking news that our beloved Regine Civil passed away in Haiti after suffering a heart attack. Born on January 23, 1983, Regine was a vibrant soul who brought joy to everyone around her. She had a passion for dance that was contagious, an insatiable weakness for chocolate, and an absolutely awesome sense of humor that could light up any room.

Since their mother's passing in 2014, Patricia, Regine's older sister, has selflessly taken on the responsibility of caring for Regine from afar, providing unwavering support from the United States. Now, Patricia is faced with the immense weight of arranging Regine's burial in Haiti, a task made even more challenging by the current travel ban that prevents family and friends from being there in person to say their final goodbyes.
