Regina’s Cancer Recovery Fund

Signe Kurian is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Regina Lightbourne.
Hello everyone, our dearest Regina has cancer. If you know Regina, she has likely prayed for you, now it is our turn to lift her up. Here is her story…
Regina is the primary caregiver of Eli her special needs child. She has worked tirelessly for 8 years supporting and healing him. Using both traditional and alternative treatments, Regina regularly shared her setbacks and successes. Many of us, joined her in her journey as she openly shared the road to healing Eli.
Yet, at the same time, Regina personally tackled complex medical diagnoses including Lyme and Mast Cell Activation disease. It was after recovering from Lyme and in the midst of a divorce that she received a devastating breast cancer diagnosis on March 15, 2021.
Mast Cell Disease complicates traditional cancer treatments, potentially causing severe allergic reactions or life-threatening anaphylaxis shock. This makes Regina a poor candidate for anesthesia, chemotherapy, and radiation.
She needs support for medical expenses that are not covered by her insurance company. These treatments include expensive testing, supplements, IV infusions and other therapies not covered. Her doctor estimates her costs to be over $20,000.
Any amount helps. There is no amount too small. Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated and will help relieve her of a huge financial burden. If you are unable to give, please share this fundraiser with your community.
This campaign is dedicated to helping Regina with medical bills and related expenses. Many of us know that Regina is a warm, open, loving, and dedicated mom and friend, let’s help her recover.
