In Loving Memory of Reginald Lacroix
It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing the passing of my beloved cousin, who left us on 9/22/2025 at the age of 48 in Oklahoma.
Reginald was found dead in his house by his 2 younger children from a massive heart attack. He left behind 4 beautiful children: 20, 18, 16, and 12. He was truly a special person, known for his kindness, sense of humor, unwavering strength, and dedication to his children. His goal in life was to help his kids pursue football specifically the 3 boys, which was his passion from high school up until his college years . His legacy of love, generosity, and creativity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our family was not prepared for this loss, especially his 75 years old mom who herself had open-heart surgery not too long ago and 2 hip replacement surgeries back in May 2025.
We are now facing the unexpected financial burden of arranging a proper funeral and memorial service. We want to give Reginald the dignified farewell he deserves and honor his memory in a way that truly celebrates the life he lived.
We have started this GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses, which include (transfer the remains from Oklahoma to North Miami, the memorial service, burial plot, headstone, and other related costs). We aim to raise enough by 10/13 to help ease our family's financial strain during this painful time.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference. We are incredibly grateful for your support, prayers, and kind words. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Lacroix / Laguerre family
