Regina Mahoney Lock needs help due to lung cancer

Hi,My name is Regina MaHoney Lock.My husband is Dennis,AKA Springfield Shaky. We are the proud Grandparents and guardians of Connor Lock.

I have been employed by Hy-Vee since 2014. I got thrown a curve ball in August of 2023. I was diagnosed with stage three small cell lung cancer.

I am currrently on a three day every three week chemotherapy treatment and five days a week radiation therapy. I have just been released from a twelve day stay at the hospital for pneumonia and a neutropenic diagnosis ( An abnormally low count of white blood cells) Needless to say I'm out of work and it is unknown if I can return.

Our family is struggling to make ends meet. With the high cost of gasoline to and from Doctor appointments for treatments five days a week,utilities, insurance costs,medication and our grandsons education this has put quite a toll on us.

I was in the Springfield Catholic School system for twelve years and having worked at grocery and convience stores the past thirty years if you've bought gas or food we have probably met.

If you have been to a Springfield Shaky gig in the last forty years we may have rubbed elbows and shared a cocktail.

I have never had to ask for help before but I've never been in this position.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Prayers for this old lady would be wonderful also!
