Hi, I am a co- worker of Regina Leslie. And I would like to share her story. On Wednesday, March 13th Regina, a working woman, wife, mother, and grandmother, started her day off like anyone of us, parking her car and walking across the street to work. As many of you have heard from the local news, around 615 am, she was physically assaulted walking outside the Omaha Park 1 parking garage at 15th and Douglas.

Regina is recovering from this senseless act of violence that left her with numerous physical injuries along with mental anguish. It will be a long road for her to recover and we need to support Regina along the way.

Thanks to the dedicated work of the Omaha Police Department and the Railroad Police Department, the assailant has been taken into custody, which does provide a sense of relief.
