This fundraiser is being created to help the family of Regina Arroyo, one of the kindest, selfless, and undoubtedly loyal people I have ever met. Regina had gone missing after a dog transport on 11/28. Regina’s van, dogs and personal items were located at her home. Sadly, days later, she was found deceased. There is an ongoing homicide investigation going on so unfortunately not many details have been or can be shared. What I can share with you is the memories of Regina I have over the years of being in rescue with her. Regina would never leave her dogs! Ever. They went everywhere with her! And if it was a place dogs weren’t allowed, Regina didn’t go. Rocco and Copper will miss their momma. She dedicated her life to help save dogs from countless shelters. Over the years working with her I have been blessed to have the gift of her amazing soul in my home. Gifting my daughter with a box turtle one year just to see her smile! Driving to TN without hesitation to pick up one of my dogs who needed medical attention and bringing him straight to NY, no questions asked. This is who Regina was. She didn’t have an easy life, but she certainly made the most of what she had. Regina’s family was her first and foremost. She LOVED being a Mema and enjoyed talking about her grandkids. Her children are suffering an indescribable loss. Please let’s give back to Regina the care and compassion she gave to all she met!
