Reggie’s Time for Healing

Reggie discovered later in life that his purpose here on Earth was to heal those who were suffering from trauma.

 

With years of hard work and sacrifice, which at times meant a reclusive life, Reggie recently earned his masters in Psychotherapy, with a concentration in somatics, to pursue his mission in healing those who are suffering from trauma.

 

Shortly after graduating, Reggie unexpectedly suffered from a stroke while in his apartment in downtown San Francisco, where he currently lives on his own.

 

This meant that Reggie would be bedridden for quite some time while experiencing great challenges in overall coordination, paralysis with weak muscles, walking, difficulty speaking, mental confusion, and overall spiritual well being.

 

For several years up until now, Reggie has had challenges with financial stability, due in large part to him being a dedicated full time grad student relying on loans.

 

The stroke did not only derail Reggie’s goal of healing others, but it also put Reggie in a financial burden as he is not able to begin the career he’s worked tirelessly for many years.

 

Our goal here is not to pay for Reggie’s insurmountable school loans or even his medical expenses, but to simply help support Reggie’s basic day-to-day financial needs (eg rent, food) due to his current disability from his stroke as he is unable to provide for himself at this time (rehab for a stroke can last anywhere between 4-6 months).

 

As a man who discovered his main goal in life is to heal others, this is now a time for healing for Reggie.
