Reggie's Hospitilization Bill

Donation protected
First I just want to start by saying thank you for caring enough to come to the page we appreciate any and all concern from our friends and family.
So last week we had a big scare with our little guy Reggie. We noticed one day that he was a little unlike his normal energetic and playful self. Reggie is always so vibrant and fun and one day last week we saw that he wasn't acting normally and also that he started to have diarrhea. As any concerned pet parent we took him into the vet and they gave him a bunch of meds to take home so that we can treat him and get him feeling like himself again. Unfortunately a day later as we had been giving him meds and following their instructions we noticed he wasn't getting better at all. He was still lethargic and now he was refusing food and water. He woke us up around 7 am the following day to a very scary situation. We noticed him heaving to puke and when it came out it was a dark puddle and it was a lot. I went to clean it and I saw that there were blood spots all throughout the vomit. He then ran over to his pee pad and instead of any feces out came large puddles of blood. THIS WAS TERRIFYING. I’d post the pictures of it here but I don’t think anyone really wants to see that. At that moment we knew something was definitely not right. We rushed him over to the animal urgent care where they said they'd need to aggressively attack whatever it is that is going on. We were notified that he had severe issues with his stomach and intestines and he would need to be hospitalized which scared us so bad. After 3 vet visits and 2 days of being in the vet hospital, lots of meds and lots of treatment they were finally able to figure out how to get him back to normal! We were so happy and relieved. As you may know taking your pet to an emergency hospital and to have them boarded there is not cheap. We were willing to pay whatever it took to make sure he was okay. We were able to pay a majority of the bill but it ended up being a lot more than we were able to fully cover. The amount shown is what was left over after the majority of the bill that we paid. This amount would help us finalize his treatment plan. I'm not one to ever ask anyone for help but I felt like this was a good moment to seek assistance from our loved ones. I know we all have lives and financial responsibilities. Even if you came just to see what was going on thank you again for taking the time. For those that are able to help and donate I just want to say thank you so much. Reggie means the world to us and although we got stuck with an enormous bill we were going to do whatever it took to make sure he was okay. Even if it just meant figuring it all out on our own. Thanks again everyone, love you guys.
