For anyone who knows him, Reggie Jackson is a goofy, loving, and fierce friend. He has the ability to light up the room with his smile, and above all, he loves his family.
Reggie serves in the United States Air Force and is currently stationed in Lajes Field, Portugal where he has spent the last year away from his family. (a 365 day tour that came up just after a 6 month deployment to the desert, again without his family). Just when it was time for his tour to terminate and for him to return to be home, there were a series of events that kept that from happening. This GoFundMe account has been set up to help support Reggie's wife Chelsy, and their family, get to Portugual and take care of any other extraordinary expenses that unfortunately are not covered through any type of Air Force assistance funding.

My name is Rachel Layre and I met Reggie when we deployed together a little more than 3 years ago. He has been an amazing friend and support system to my family, and was even the Best Man in my wedding. I'm asking for any help you can provide, be it in prayers for his family, kind words in the forms of letters that Chelsy could send to him, or even $1 to assist Chelsy in providing for her family and supporting her husband in this difficult time.

I recently posted an update to this Campaign with more details, but please be aware that any funds raised from this campaign go to Chelsy and her family for any family expenses that arrise during these difficult times. Examples of use are things like airfare to/from Portugal, childcare expenses, etc. The money is NOT for any legal fees nor will it be used to support/alter/influence any open court cases.
