Reggie the wonder school horse needs help!

Reggie is one of farms favorite school horses. He came to the program about 7 years ago needing a soft place to land. He became the Steady Eddy school horse that we needed. He even started eventing. Getting out to 2-3 events a year. Reggie’s love for jumping and cross country never fails to make me smile.

Reggie or Threat Level Midnight was at Spokane Sport Horse preparing to take a student to their first event when he started colicing. We took him to WSU on Sept 29th where he had surgery to fix a severely displaced colon. He came out of surgery well and was getting stronger everyday and tonight Oct 2 he started colicing again and the only option was a second surgery to try to get things sorted. The vets a WSU are the best and are optimistic that he has a really good chance but it’s going to be a long recovery. These unexpected vet bills are never expected but I am putting this out to Reggie’s friends in case anyone wants to help.
