Reggie Scott after armed car jacking

Hi, Nick here raising funds for Reggie Scott, our Bolton Hill paper delivery person. He was carjacked by armed men early Wednesday morning, December 7. I got to talk with Reggie last week.

While delivering papers on the 1500 block of Bolton Street, Reggie heard footsteps and turned around to see two men running towards his car. He in turn ran towards the car, at which point one of the men drew a handgun, pointed it at Reggie and told him to back off.

Reggie asked to get his dog from the car and did, and then the men vanished in his car. Reggie ran around the corner to McMechen and flagged down a Baltimore City police car which had just passed the corner of Bolton and McMechen. He's grateful to be unharmed and grateful this wasn't a weekend when his 10 year old son often accompanies him on the route.

Reggie's car has not been recovered, and he currently uses his boss's car to deliver papers while waiting for an insurance settlement. He is also cobbling together transport to his two other jobs at Cracker Barrel and Cava.
