Roaring for Reggie
Our world changed in an instant.
Reggie is my beautiful, brave three-year-old little brother. He should be spending his days playing, laughing, and exploring the world with wide-eyed excitement. Instead, he is currently in hospital beginning treatment after being diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that develops in immature nerve cells called neuroblasts.
Just days before his diagnosis, we had no idea our lives were about to turn upside down. What started as a hospital visit quickly became something far more serious. Within 48 hours, our family heard the word no one is ever prepared for: cancer.
Reggie will soon be starting his treatment and further biopsies so doctors can fully understand what they are dealing with and determine the best plan forward. For such a tiny body, he is facing something unimaginably big. Yet even in hospital, he shows the same spark — the same sweet smile, the same love for dinosaurs, the same courage that leaves us in awe.
He is only three. He should be worrying about toys, not treatments.
We are raising funds to support Reggie and our family through this fight. Donations will go towards:
• Essential equipment he may need during treatment
• The option of private healthcare if it becomes necessary
• Travel costs for hospital appointments and ongoing care
• Supporting a chosen children’s charity
• A special trip to Dino World — because every child battling this horrible disease deserves joy, even during the hardest battles
• Spoiling him on days out because this will be a hard journey for Reggie mentally, physically and emotionally to keep spirits high
• Funds will also be contributed towards a brave box, this is where Reggie will recieve a present for being so brave and strong during and after treatments
• Helping our family manage the financial and emotional strain during this time
Cancer doesn’t just affect one person — it affects an entire family. Between hospital stays, appointments, and caring for Reggie, life has changed completely.
We are sharing Reggie’s story not just to ask for help, but to surround him with love, strength, and hope.
Every donation, share and every message means more than we can put into words. It reminds us that we are not alone in this fight.
We are also accepting donations of any form; can include necessaries, toys, funding etc.
The account made is for Reggie and his donations. This is made in my name because Reggie is not old enough to have his own. Thank you for understanding.
Reggie is small, but he is mighty. And with the support of a community behind him, we believe he can face this battle with courage, comfort, and moments of happiness along the way.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story. Thank you for standing with him.
Let’s help our little dinosaur warrior roar through this.
