Regenal Sommers Wrist Surgery
Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm fundraising for Regenal Sommers. He's a farrier and horse trainer in central New Mexico. His motto is, "Everyone is my friend until they're not," and he is extraordinarily loyal and supportive of his friends. He practices the Natural Method of horse training, not the "breaking" method, so buck-offs are extremely rare. But on Tues, July 6, a seemingly docile horse suddenly turned into an equine tornado and Regenal got bucked off. He broke his wrist and has been in extreme pain since then. This is his first broken bone in 9 years of training and shoeing. He continues to train as much as possible, but is unable to trim or shoe horses. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, July 19, with total healing to take up to 2 months! Regenal is not insured, so we, his friends, would like to cover his medical bills and loss of income. He has over 4,000 followers on Facebook, and if each one contributed just $2 it would cover his needs. Please consider contributing and also praying for a swift, uncomplicated recovery. Thank you for whatever you can do to help.
