Hi! We are a team of marine biologists researching the re-emergence and unusual stranding events of the oarfish (Regalecus russelii) in the Gulf of California and
our laboratory, Remolab, needs your help!
We are raising funds to support our ongoing research on these rare and fascinating deep-sea fish. In order to continue our work, we need financial support to acquire essential materials, cover fieldwork expenses, process biological samples, and obtain the equipment necessary for proper data collection and analysis.
Oarfish strandings are unusual events that may provide valuable information about deep-sea ecosystems, environmental changes, and the possible causes behind these appearances in coastal areas. However, studying these events requires rapid response, specialized materials, laboratory supplies, transportation, and trained personnel.
Your contribution will help us continue documenting, analyzing, and understanding these remarkable events in the Gulf of California. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and directly support marine science and conservation.
Thank you for helping us continue our research!
