Hola, soy Victoria y vengo a contarles un poco sobre la crítica situación de Deidy Rivas, una de mis tías más cercanas.

Mi tía Miriri, como le decimos de cariño, fue diagnosticada con un tumor en el tronco cerebral hace casi 4 años. Es paciente oncológica, pero lamentablemente ha recibido quimioterapia sin éxito, y aún necesita costear uno de sus exámenes médicos más importantes.

Adicionalmente, ella, junto a mi tío y primos, tuvieron una pérdida total de su vivienda el año pasado a raíz de la explosión de una bombona, que provocó un incendio inmediato en toda la casa, quemando también los resultados de sus evaluaciones médicas, entre ellas el diagnóstico del tumor.

Gracias al gran apoyo de su familia y amigos, se logró completar gran parte de los estudios que se necesitaban, sin embargo, todavía necesita recibir un cateterismo cerebral. Esta operación no se realiza en los hospitales públicos de Venezuela, y la clínica donde se ha visto desde los inicios de la enfermedad no da un presupuesto exacto, ya que los materiales varían según las condiciones al momento de operar.

Por esta razón, me presento aquí solicitando el apoyo de todos los que puedan contribuir, ya sea orando, compartiendo la información o donando. Actualmente mi tía tiene 38 años y muchas ganas de vivir por sus hijos y familia.

Hi, I'm Victoria and I'm here to tell you a little about the critical situation of Deidy Rivas, one of my closest aunts.

My aunt Miriri, as we affectionately call her, was diagnosed with a brainstem tumor almost 4 years ago. She is an oncology patient but she has unfortunately received unsuccessful chemotherapy. At the moment she still needs to pay for one of her most important medical exams.

Last year my aunt, along with my uncle and cousins, were left homeless as a result of a gas cylinder explosion, which caused an immediate fire throughout the house. They lost most of their belongings, including the medical evaluations results of her tumor diagnosis.

Thanks to the great support of her family and friends, it was possible to complete a large part of the studies that were needed. However, she still needs to receive a Brain Catheterization. This operation is not performed in public hospitals in Venezuela. The clinic where she has been going since she was first diagnosed does not give an exact estimate, as the materials vary according to the conditions at the time of the operation.

For this reason, I am here requesting the support of everyone who can contribute, either by praying, sharing the information or donating. Currently my aunt is 38 years old and eager to live for her children and family.
