I am living with osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, hoshimotos thyroiditis, idiopathic hypersomnia with chronic sleep inertia, pmos, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue, which have made it increasingly difficult to get around and enjoy daily life. Over the years, I’ve tried to push through pain and limitations because I never wanted my disability to define what I could do. But lately, it’s become impossible to ignore how much my health has changed. Between medical expenses, the need for a wheelchair to maintain my independence, and unexpected home repairs, things have become more difficult than I can manage alone.
I have to cover 20% of the wheelchair on Medicare.
An electric wheelchair would allow me to spend more time with my niece and nephew, avoid exhausting myself to the point of being bedridden, continue my photography, enjoy concerts and conventions, and play disc golf again. Photography, conventions, concerts, and the communities I’ve found through them have given me so much joy and purpose, and I want to keep being part of them for years to come.
If you’re able to donate or even just share my GoFundMe, it would mean the world to me and help me continue doing the things I love. Your support will help me regain independence and keep doing what brings me happiness. Thank you for reading and for any help you can offer.
