Hi, I’m Amy — a wife, mom, and fighter. This past year has brought challenges I never expected. I’ve been battling breast cancer while continuing to work full-time and caring for my family to the best of my ability.

We are a small family — my husband James and our two girls, Christina and Faith. They came to live with us nine years ago, and we’ve always worked hard to make sure they have everything they need. James has been working long hours to help keep our household afloat, and I’ve pushed through treatment while working as much as I can. But with medical bills, travel for appointments, and everyday expenses, things have become overwhelming and bills are starting to pile up.

I’m reaching out with humility and hope — asking for help as I move into the next phase of this journey.

A little background:

At the end of March, I discovered a lump in my right breast. After a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy, I received the news no one ever wants to hear: Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 3. Further testing showed the tumor was larger than expected — but thankfully, it had not spread to my lymph nodes.

I have now finished chemotherapy and will be proceeding with surgery in the coming weeks, followed by radiation. While I will continue to work when able, I’ll need time off for surgery and recovery — which means less income during a time when expenses continue to grow.

My family has been incredibly supportive through all of this, but we can’t manage it all on our own. Any financial assistance would help lift the burden of medical costs, travel, and basic living expenses while I focus on healing.
