Refurb of Milledge Hall for Community Engagement

We at Brighton Road Baptist Church in South Croydon are raising money to modernise our Community Hall (Milledge Memorial Hall).
The hall is used for Sunday school, youth work, community groups and children's parties. It is also used as a polling station and for resident association meetings. After successfully reaching our goal of £8000 our new goal is to reach £10000. Much work has been done on the
hall but due to some setbacks, there are still outstanding items to address. Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and inviting facility for
the wider community.
As a small congregation and due to high maintenance costs and expenditures within the church, the hall has deteriorated over time. The hall is in urgent need of attention and so every donation made will help to achieve this. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
Jobs completed:
- Wooden floor sanded and sealed
- Walls, skirting and radiators painted
- Wooden ceiling beams cleaned
- New external entrance doors ordered and awaiting delivery
Jobs required:
- Internal doors need replacing
- Curtains required for hall windows
