Refurbishment of KS1 Playground

At Sherwell Valley we are hosting a fundraising event to raise money for a refurbishment of our Key Stage 1 lower playground.
The area needs modernising as it hasn’t been revamped for a very long time and is beginning to look tired and old. The proposed project would include resurfacing, installation of new climbing equipment and new playground markings.
We intend to raise funds in the following 3 ways:
- Seek funding from government initiatives
- Child fundraiser in the summer term
- Staff winter run.
STAFF WINTER RUN ♀️ ♀️
Over the month of December, from the 1st to the 26th, Mr Briant, Mrs Gaywood and Mrs Wolstanholme plan to run 100km each with the final 2km on Boxing Day, running from Sherwell Valley Primary School to Torre Abbey and participating in the Boxing Day dip!!!
This would result in an amazing 300km covered in 26 days!!!
