Refugees need help during this war in Ukraine!

Donation protected
Hello dear friends, family, and everyone else who may come across this post. As many of you are aware there is a raging war happening in Ukraine. Many civilians have been displaced from their homes and homeland. My family has volunteered to take in and help a refugee family of 6, fleeing from Ukraine.  They have, with the help of others before us come to US to find safety and solace from the horrors happening in their country.  They are in desperate need of essentials and building a life here starting with nothing but 3 carry-on suitcases that they brought with them.  Simon and Maryna have 4 children age range from 7 to 4 months old. Valeria is 7 years old, Viktoria is 6, Heorhii is 4, and baby girl Maria is 4 month old.
As many of us who have immigrated to a new country with foreign language and new culture we know and understand the hardships that may come along, but unlike for this family we were fortunate to get help and sponsorship from relatives. They have come from their homeland being taken over. They are in distress.
We are in the process to do proper paperwork which will enable Simon to get a job, however there are associated costs with it.  In addition, they will need financial help to supply them with daily essentials and for them to feel some peace about day to day.  If financial is not something you can help but can help with supply they need some washer, dryer, blankets, pillows, sheets, vacuum, etc. As of right now we don’t have an estimation of time for when he will be granted the paperwork needed to get situated with a job so this is where any and all kind of help and support can be a big help. We are doing the best we can to help. They will also need to rent a place to live.  As the funds and charity come in, we will try our best to post where the money went that way there is transparency and understanding that even though you may contribute something small for this family it is something so great and the appreciation will never be forgotten. Simon’s family feels that with Gods help everything will be good, please let’s help this family together.

PS.
“May God bless everyone and your generous hearts”.
Sincerely, the Rusu family
