Members of the National Education Union from various workplaces, branches and locations across the UK are travelling to northern France to volunteer and raise money to benefit Care4Calais. The donations will go directly to the charity who support refugees, many who flee from war-torn countries and who have little choice to make such a perilous journey.

Care4Calais is a volunteer-run charity delivering essential aid and support to refugees living in the worst conditions across Northern France, Belgium and Italy. We believe in a fair and tolerant British society and advocate for a welcoming and inclusive attitude towards refugees. Operating year round from Calais, our focus is to provide warm clothing, bedding, food and medical assistance to people in desperate need.
