The Middle East has had on going wars for years, causing people to leave everything behind in their home country and escape to America. As refugees begin their new home in the States, their inability to speak English restricts them from getting jobs, forcing them to live under the help of  the government and other organizations that help pay their rent and all of their living expenses. This gives them extremely limited finances to take their kids out to do fun things or buy them new toys. Most days they stay home and play in a BROKEN neighborhood park. 

A group of friends and I have been going up to the apartment complex where they live to bring pizza and activities for them to play with.  The children at the complex are full of joy despite their circumstances and we would love nothing more to be able to give back to them so they can experience many of the same things we take for granted here in the states. 

We decided to make Eid gift packages for each of the kids this Eid especially considering the fact that there will be no masjid open for them to feel the joy of Eid so we want to bring that joy to them! We need your help to do this! Each package is around $10-$11 per kid! The more money we raise the more kids will be smiling and enjoying their holiday! Let’s make this happen! Thank you!!! ❤️
