These tulips were chosen because they are the national flower of Afghanistan. For almost a decade I have had the privilege of working with Refugees from Central Asia. I am helping one of my previous students to bring their extended family who has met the requirements to come to the United States. The funds raised will be used to support their initial months settling here in the US. Expenses include housing, clothing, food, housewares, and health screenings.
